Visma acquires Viklo, a Finnish IT consulting company and further strengthens its position in the Finnish IT consulting market.
Viklo Oy has a strong position in the Business intelligence and data warehouse market, delivering solutions and consulting to large Finnish corporations. The company's revenue in 2014 was 1,6 MEUR and has 18 employees in Jyväskylä and Tampere. Viklo will be merged into Visma Consulting Oy and will in the future operate under the Visma brand.
Prior to the acquisition, Visma Consulting in Finland had revenues of 11,7 MEUR in 2014. The company has a strong position in the large corporations and public sector markets for delivering Microsoft and JAVA based IT solutions and professional ICT consulting. The acquisition further strengthens Visma Consulting's position in the market and expands the solution portfolio further for existing and new customers.
