Visma delivered all-time high revenue of EUR 2.8 billion in 2024, a growth of 17 percent over 2023. EBITDA for the full year also reached a new record level of EUR 893 million, up 27 percent compared to the year before.
“2024 was another exciting and eventful year for Visma, where we further strengthened our position as a leading provider of mission-critical business software to the private and public sectors. Once again, we demonstrated our resilience to shifting market fundamentals and business cycles, and maintained our over two-decade-long tradition of consistent, double-digit growth – both on the top and bottom line”, says Merete Hverven, CEO of Visma.
The Group now provides mission-critical software to nearly 2 million customers across Europe and Latin America, an increase of more than 521,000 year-over-year.
“In total, we have almost doubled our customer base in the past four years, which has been achieved through a combination of organic growth and over 140 acquisitions. Looking at how Visma is currently positioned across our markets, with industry-leading investments in tech and highly dedicated employees, I’m confident that we can maintain this momentum in the years to come”, says Hverven.

Continued international expansion
In addition to solid organic growth, Visma maintained an active M&A agenda in 2024, acquiring a total of 33 new software companies, including its first in the Italian (Fiscozen) and Croatian (Moj eRačun) markets.
“Our approach to entering new markets is to acquire the best up-and-coming SaaS startups locally, with products that customers enjoy. Our ability to attract so many to join Visma, despite fierce competition from other buyers, is a testament to the excellence and quality of our M&A team and the compelling value proposition we offer to software entrepreneurs”, says Hverven.
Every year, Visma spends close to 20 percent of its revenue on product development, enabling its more than 6,000 software developers to continuously deliver innovative, secure and increasingly AI-enriched value additive solutions to its brands and customers.
“We help our new companies scale and grow into local champions over time, backed by Visma’s joint infrastructure and knowledge network, while maintaining significant autonomy and go-to-market freedom”, says Hverven.
Sustainability highlights
Visma has also released its Sustainability Report for 2024, a watershed year in which Visma reduced scope 1 emissions by 12 percent and scope 2 market-based emissions by 28 percent, among other positive environmental outcomes.

The Group continues to rank in the top 5 percent of the technology sector in areas like diversity, inclusion and employee engagement.
In November 2024, the Financial Times and Statista recognised Visma as one of Europe’s “Diversity Leaders”, based on a survey where companies were rated by employees for their inclusion and equality policies.
“This is a position we want to maintain and improve on, safe in the knowledge that Visma’s people are by far its most valuable asset”, says Hverven.
