Strong SaaS growth and eleven acquisitions for Visma in Q4

Visma, Europe’s leading provider of mission-critical business software, achieved revenue of EUR 737 million in the fourth quarter of 2024, up 14% from the same period in 2023. The Group’s Annualised Repeatable Revenue (ARR) stood at a record-high level of EUR 2.7 billion at the end of December, representing a growth of 17% year-over-year.

“Visma continued to grow in Q4 through increased sales to existing and new customers, and also solid contribution from M&A. We see continued strong demand for our SaaS products across all markets and segments, demonstrated by our ARR growing faster than total revenue”, says Merete Hverven, CEO of Visma.

EBITDA for the quarter ended at 213 million euros, up 12% year-over-year, resulting in a EBITDA-margin of 28.9%.

“EBITDA growth was slightly behind revenue growth this quarter, as we chose to increase marketing spend to support growth in 2025”, says Hverven.

Eleven acquisitions

Visma concluded another active M&A-year with eleven acquisitions in Q4. Among the new companies joining the Visma family was Finthesis, a provider of Business Intelligence software for accounting firms and CFOs, which also became the Group’s fifth acquisition in the French market during 2024.

In the Benelux-markets, the Group’s portfolio was further expanded with companies like Mobilexpense (expense management, Belgium), Bizzcontrol (advisory software for accountants, Belgium) and TimeChimp (time tracking, project management and invoicing, Netherlands). In November, Visma launched a voluntary cash offer for the Copenhagen-listed B2B software provider Penneo, which has now received support from more than 90 percent of its shareholders.

“As we welcome these great new companies, we look forward to helping them further develop, scale and thrive as part of the Visma family. Demand for high-quality business software remains firm, and Visma is in a great position to maintain our combination of organic and M&A-fuelled growth, both in existing and new markets”, says Hverven.
